At The Tree Hut, we believe we can make an incredible difference to how children flourish and succeed. We know every child is truly individual and there is no one, single way to teach them.
All children have innate curiosities and an enormous capacity to learn. We foster every child’s natural talents, interests and strengths and teach them in ways that suit them, and with content that excites them.
We draw from a wide and rich pool of resources and approaches to ensure children’s own needs are met. We believe they will truly flourish in the right environment, with the right questions, prompts and guidance from the right teachers.
Our philosophy is evidence-based, and our approach dynamic, so that we are always open to opportunity, new research, new understandings. We welcome every opportunity to enhance and organically grow our offerings.
Our Nursery
We understand what a big decision it is to put your child into care. At the Tree Hut we do all we can to make this transition as easy as possible for you. We know that your babies brains are growing at an extraordinary rate and we know the most important thing we can do for their growing brains is make ourselves 100% available to building loving relationships with them. We offer a loving environment where your under 2 knows they have a place. They are encouraged to explore and develop at their own pace with the security of teachers working alongside them.
Our daily programme in the nursery is dependant on individual children attending each day and their individual learning pathway. This will include but not be limited to: music and movement, active exploration, art and creative time, story times, small group play experiences and nap time where and when necessary.
To help out, the Tree Hut offers 6 free hours per week for your under 3 year old to enjoy exploring our exciting environment.

Our Preschool
As your child transitions into the preschool, you can be confident that they are delving into a fun, learning rich, nurturing environment. Every where they look there are opportunities for them to engage in educational, thought provoking activities. Teachers scaffold children’s learning, encouraging pro-social skills, team work, a strong sense of self worth and children’s individuality all the while acknowledging children’s special uniqueness.

Children learn from their hands to their heads, using all their senses combined. A child’s day in the preschool centres around a range of experiences and opportunities, asking and being asked questions, investigating and discovering.
Our day revolves around a daily programme that is flexible to accomodate the needs of individual children attending each day.

Stay and Play
See your child delight in their surroundings! Play and learn with and alongside them while you meet other parents and educators.

Stay and play with your little person
Every Monday morning we open our centre and invite both new and enrolled parents to stay and play with their child. We love and appreciate all our incredible families, and offer an inclusive, welcoming and supportive space to spend time learning with and alongside your child while connecting with others.
